Jesus went around doing good by changing the lives of people. We who follow the example of Christ Jesus have opportunities to do the same. Join with us to serve in established or new ways of serving and being the church.

On Campus opportunies

Contact our office for serving on campus with our partnership with a food bank, preschool volunteer helper, the thrift store or assisting with techonology in the office.

Off Campus Opportunities

Participate in activities that will care for the home bounds, or other needs beyond the church space.

Use your unique gifts to help build the Kingdom.

As gifted persons we can help to build up good things in the lives of our known and unknown friends. Consider using the gifts within you to repair a home, share the good news, serve in areas that will honor God. Be whole change agent today.

Volunteer FAQ

How do I volunteer?

Contact the office or the pastor about willingnes to become a volunteer. We will connect you in the possible areas of service.

How do I volunteer with kids?

You need to have a conversation with the office, pastor, or lay leader. Working with children and young people will require having a background check and orientation in the Youth, and child care protection protocols.

How do I volunteer with music?

Speak with Bro. Trotman or the pastor via email to office@merrellumc.org.

How do I volunteer with students?

Contact the Preschool and arrange for state background checks and work through other protocols for childcare.
